Water Budget have taken a bit of a hit this season due to the above average temperatures and the complete lack of effective rainfall for the first 2/3rds of the season. The timing of the last irrigation and the utilisation of the stored soil moisture as been highlighted as an aspect where some water savings may be made without causing significant reductions in yield and fibre quality.
