Harvesting Considerations for Soybeans

Correct and efficient harvesting of soybeans is critical to ensure maximum yield and a quality product is presented to the final consumer of the beans. Newer varieties which are both high yielding and sought after for human consumption have large bean size which predisposes them to mechanical damage if harvest is not carried out with care and attention. This is an issue to the grower as quality discounts can erode the profit margin.
