Comparing The Seasons

In recent issues of Facts on Friday we have been focussing on the components and drivers of high yields, particularly with relevance to the current crop. For most growing areas, this season couldn’t be more different from the previous three; the welcome return of summer rains in most districts, increases in the amount and type of insect pressure and most notably the mild, cool and cloudy growing conditions.
