Latest update from CSD on Planting Seed Supply

14 October, 2016

Planting is now well underway in many areas, with reports that in spite of the cooler mornings, the crop seems to be emerging reasonably well.

We would like to take this chance thank our customers and agents for their patience and excellent response to our requests to place orders as early as possible.

Our processing plant has now treated and fully dispatched nearly all orders. We are holding some stock on the floor that is available for immediate order and dispatch.

Key Information

• Limited volumes of Sicot 746B3F are still available
• Good stocks of Sicot 748B3F and Sicot 714B3F are available
• Less common varieties are still available
• A small volume of Genero® (Imidacloprid) treated seed is available

We will continue to produce seed for late-plant/replant and we urge growers to carefully consider the conditions they are planting into. For more information contact your local Extension and Development agronomist.

CSD’s Soil Temperature Network and Cotton Field Weather Network stations are scattered throughout the cotton growing regions and are providing real-time detailed information to assist growers.
