New Faces Join The CSD Team

Cotton Seed Distributors has welcomed two new faces to fill important roles across the CSD organization.

Craig Farlow has joined the CSD Extension & Development team and will service growers in the southern production valleys of New South Wales.

His key responsibilities include supporting the CSD cotton variety suite and working with growers, consultants and distributors to develop varieties and technologies that support their farming operations and business needs.

Craig will also use his broad agronomic skills to lead CSD’s extension efforts to support growers of CSD Grains soybean crops.

His strong technical and commercial background in cotton and grain crops will complement the diverse skill set of the CSD Extension & Development team.

Dr Rose Roche has joined the CSD Seed Increase & Trials team based in Wee Waa. Rose, who has a strong background in cotton production and physiology, will work across the product development and trials program focusing on both cotton and soybeans.

The commercial development of elite cotton and soybean varieties, technologies, and the generation of quality performance data, is the primary goal of this role.

Rose will work alongside the CSD Quality Assurance team, which is intimately involved in all aspects of planting seed production.

Commenting on these appointments, CSD General Manager Steve Ainsworth said Craig and Rose complement both the skill base and culture of CSD.
