Although a lot of rain fell during the summer on this trial, this crop experienced the full heat of the Christmas / New Year period which rapidly cut out many of the more determinant varieties within the trial.

An excellent result for Sicala 350B, with a yield level which is comparable with the other varieties within the trial, bit fibre characteristics well and truly above base. This variety is definitely showing potential in the rain grown system.
