COVID-19 update from Cotton Seed Distributors

07 September, 2020 News

Update 10 August, 2020:

CSD will remain closed to non-essential visitors across all CSD sites, due to the increasing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Victoria and the unfolding uncertainties within NSW.

This protocol will remain in place until CSD has completed seed treatment and dispatch operations for the 2020-21 cotton season; unless advised otherwise.

Original update posted 19 March, 2020:

Due to current circumstances with the unfolding COVID-19 health pandemic, Cotton Seed Distributors have taken steps to prioritise the health and wellbeing of our staff while minimising disruption to our business operations.

Please be aware that our Wee Waa and Dalby offices, production facilities and farm are now closed to all non-essential visitors until further notice.

These operations, along with our usual field operations, are continuing to function with staff adhering to professional advice on social distancing and hygiene.

In the event of further significant restrictions to business operations, CSD assures our partners and customers that we have sufficient seed on hand to supply a full industry plant for the 2020-21 season, based on potential full irrigation entitlements and dryland planting potential.

The COVID-19 situation is continually evolving, and CSD Management reserves the right to take further appropriate steps as required.

Thank you for your understanding, and stay safe.
